Alvin began his career tracking toward Broadcast Journalism working as a DJ at a Country and Western radio station and internship with Turner Broadcasting System in Atlanta, GA. He later went on to complete a law and business degree at University of Iowa and practiced Corporate law for large law firm and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. Alvin also spent some time working in technology as a consultant with IBM. Alvin ultimately decided that the medical field was more compatible with his incessant curiosity.
Alvin graduated Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University in Henderson, NV in 2009. He spent nearly 6 years practicing Corrections Medicine with the Florida and Colorado Corrections Departments. In 2015, Alvin moved to Washington working in a small family practice clinic. In July of 2017, Alvin returned to Colorado and joined the medical staff of the Wray Clinic as a family practice physician assistant.
Born and raised in a small Northwest Florida town near Tallahassee with five older sisters. He has a wife and college age son. In his free time, Alvin enjoys: Fly Fishing, Hunting, Biking, Reading, Woodworking, College and Pro Football, Baseball and Fitness.
