  • Adam Wills on Clinical laboratory plays a crucial role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. The lab at Wray Hospital provides 24/7 in-house services including: -Hematology -Blood chemistry -Urinalysis -Coagulation studies -Blood banking -And more A written physician’s order is required for most laboratory tests. We do offer direct access testing payable out-of-pocket for (see attached) What is Direct Access? The Wray Hospital now offers Direct Access Testing for additional testing you might need throughout the year. Direct Access Testing (DAT) can be ordered ala carte to be very specific to your needs. These tests are ordered by you with absolutely no order required! You will pay for these tests upfront and nothing will be billed to you or your insurance. The test results will be released exclusively to you; you can then take the results to the next visit with the Health Care Provider of your choice. Once these test results are shared with your provider and scanned into your EMR (Electronic Medical Record) they become a permanent part of your permanent health record. We know that as Health Insurance and Health Care Costs continue to rise it can be a struggle for many individuals to afford good health care. Your Health is our number one priority which is why we have brought DAT also known as Direct Access Lab testing to our community. We believe that pairing Health Fair and Direct Access will allow you to be in control of your health without breaking the bank.
