Dr. Baer grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. She studied chemical engineering at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT for undergrad, and continued to the University of Colorado Anschutz for medical school with a career as a physician in rural healthcare in mind.

Flashback to when Dr. Baer was 12 years old, she knew she wanted to be in the medical field as a nurse or a doctor. Her dad is a physician and she has always looked up to him and admired his attentiveness for his patients. Her specific areas of interests are outpatient clinical medicine and women’s healthcare.

An interesting fact about Dr. Baer is that she enjoys hunting with her family. When she was 18, she shot a Boone-Crockett moose and it is mounted above her parent’s fireplace.
