Wray Community Health District is pleased to announce a renovation of the Hillcrest Care Center skilled nursing facility. The Care Center and The Towers assisted living facility took occupancy in 2001 in the prime quiet location south of Wray. With received grants, Kitzmiller monies, and internal funding, the board feels it is time to give the facility an update.
Hillcrest Care Center’s renovation will involve updating the flooring throughout the nursing care facility and a general upgrade to restore its home-like atmosphere. Hillcrest Care Center will also have a clean, bright feeling in the facility due to new light fixtures and color scheme.
Along with the structural changes, the staff has undergone some changes as well.
Tara Gaynor, LPN, NHA joined the nursing home team as its administrator at the end of June. She comes from Kit Carson, CO where she has 21 years of experience in senior healthcare services. Her extensive knowledge of all aspects of nursing home care comes from 18 years of devoted service at the Cheyenne Manor, a Five Star nursing home in Cheyenne Wells. Tara’s depth of experience started as a nurse’s aide as she advanced to the position of nursing home administrator.
Ana Liming, BSN, RN, DON is the new director of nursing. She has been practicing health care for 20-plus years at the Yuma Hospital. Ana is dedicated to serving the nursing and daily-living needs of Hillcrest’s residents. Her desire is to assist each resident to thrive at Hillcrest! Ana feels very blessed to provide quality care for the elderly of our community because they have taken care of us for so many years.
“Hillcrest is here to serve the community and care for our senior residents,” said John Hart, District CEO. “With a new cohesive staff and renovation plans, we look forward to providing quality care to our loved ones.”
Since 2001, Hillcrest Care Center and The Towers has provided seniors special care and a nurturing home. The skilled nursing home and assisted living facility are remarkable assets to our community.
