About the Radiology Department

The Radiology Department at Wray Hospital provides imaging technology services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The department provides a full spectrum of routine diagnostic services. X-rays, CT scans and ultrasound are available on a routine and emergency basis. Mammography and bone densitometry appointments can be made through the radiology department without a doctor’s referral and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is available with a doctor’s referral at Wray Hospital.

The Radiology Department is staffed with board certified radiologists and licensed technicians.

Hours of Operation

Department hours of operation:
Monday – Friday    7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
On Call:  Nights, Weekends and Holidays

Digital X-ray:
Performed with an order, Monday – Friday
Performed 24/7 in ER

CT:
Performed by appointment, with an order, Monday – Friday
Performed 24/7 in ER

Ultrasound:
Performed by appointment, with an order, Monday – Friday

Mammography:
Performed by appointment, with an order, Monday – Friday.
Order not required for screening mammogram. Order is required for diagnostic mammogram.

Mobile Services:

MRI:
Provided on Saturdays by mobile unit.

Nuclear Medicine:
Provided the Second and Fourth Thursday of every month by mobile unit.

Echocardiography/Vascular Ultrasound:
Provided on Thursdays by mobile unit from NCMC/CVI (Cardiovascular Institute).
